The PMS Smoothie


Do you ever wake up in the morning and feel like doing NOTHING?
Everything seems to be a drag & you just want everybody to leave you alone?

It happens to everyone.

99.9% of the time, this is caused by our hormones – or more likely, a lack of them

You see, whenever we stress about something, our bodies produce cortisol.
When the adrenal glands are all run out of cortisol but you’re still stressed, your body will improve – because stress is fight or flight, and in that case, it wants you to survive.

So it takes your juicy progesterone and synthetizes it into cortisol, so you can keep going like crazy.

The problem is, you can turn tat sex hormone into stress hormones, but NOT vice versa, and once your progesterone levels are too low, we’re speaking of an estrogen dominance.

Right before your cycle starts, your estrogen levels are usually way higher than the progesterone – which makes you feel bloated, get water retention, and the PMS blues.

So, what we want to do BEFORE your period kicks in is

– to balance out these hormones
– provide your body with magnesium to put more ease in your body
– get some iron, because you’re going to shed some of this the next couple of days
– stack up on Vitamin C to keep the inflammation levels low

To get this done, I got a recipe for ya:


You’ll put in your blender:

1 banana
1 beetroot
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
3-4 leaves of fresh spinach

Blend until smooth, and drink up A.S.A.P. – because the vitamins are oxidation faster once the cells membrane has been broken.

Start drinking these around one week before aunt Irma comes to town, so your body has enough time to stack up all the good stuff.
